Property Description

Willowlake takes its name from the graceful weeping willows that grow at the edge of the property's ornamental lake. Surrounding the lake are five acres of beautiful flowering gardens with arbours and meandering paths and a small private island sits in the centre of the lake. Colourful birds such as king parrots, rosellas and lorikeets also appreciate the wonderful garden and regularly visit the cottage verandahs for seed.

A lagoon style saltwater swimming pool, complete with bubble beach, is another popular feature in the warmer months. A gazebo by the pool offers a covered spot for outdoor dining, spending time with a book, or watching the sun set over the skyline of mountains, with Lake Eildon in the foreground. (In times of drought Lake Eildon water levels can recede).

Hidden amongst the gardens, the cosy spa cottages are very private. The simply designed, hand-crafted, studio style cottages present a contemporary country look.

Willowlake's popular two night weekend Romantic Package includes a bottle of regional wine, a pâté and cheese platter, port and homemade chocolates, cookies and cakes, a stacked breakfast hamper for two mornings, plus a two course dinner for two in your cottage.
