Property Description

Behind the small seaside township of Apollo Bay the landscape forms a backdrop of steep, forest and pasture-carpeted hills. It is here that this 18-acre property covers a prime hillside position with irresistible views over the coastline, town, harbour and historic reservoir of Apollo Bay. Each of the five self-contained villas is designed and situated to maximise the stunning views as well as guests' privacy.

The studio-style villas combine dramatic angles and shapes to create a distinctive look and interesting interior spaces. Vast windows, soaring cathedral ceilings, polished wooden floors and clean modern lines emphasise the sense of space, freshness and luxury.A wall of glass facing the ocean and floor to ceiling windows in the dining area provide uninterrupted views of the ocean, hillside and forest. The bathroom, also with cathedral ceilings, has a double glass shower and large spa with similar stunning views over the ocean and town. When not absorbed with the view outside, the open plan layout allows guests to gaze at the wood fire or satellite television from the king size bed, the kitchen or the couch.

Special features

Guests will find their villa is presented with many extra details such as fresh flowers, complimentary wine and chocolates, a selection of pillows, candles, robes, bubble bath and handmade soaps, beach towels and games. On chilly afternoons the fire will be alight awaiting your arrival.

Without leaving your villa you can experience a myriad of nature's wonders. The coastal tableau can change hour by hour and you can witness threatening grey storm fronts and misty double rainbows over the hills, or the full amazing sound and light show of a thunderstorm, or the sparkling blue waters of the Southern Ocean under a clear sunny sky and the dreamy pink and claret cloud formations at sunset, followed by the shimmering moonrise over the harbour. Wallabies may be seen around the property in the early morning and a variety of birds patrol the area including wedge tailed eagles, kookaburras, blue wrens, king parrots, rosellas, new holland honey eaters, white goshawks and eastern yellow robins. The 18-acre property is also home to a flock of sheep and goats. In spring there may be new lambs to watch frolic and play.
