Oakdene is situated on 230 acres of lush coastal farmland near Ocean Grove on the Bellarine Peninsula, just 20 minutes from Geelong or 70 minutes from Melbourne.
Oakdene can be found in the heartland of the Bellarine Peninsula, within easy reach of the seaside villages of Ocean Grove, Barwon Heads and Queenscliff. Amongst the vines and countryside vistas is a restaurant that draws patrons from far and wide to enjoy Oakdene's fine food and creative ambience.

Oakdene is a 90 hectare farm property with 8 hectares of vines. Towering trees line the drive to the homestead which was built in the early 20th century. In 2003 the homestead and grounds underwent extensive renovations to develop an integrated restaurant, gallery, garden zones and accommodation. Oakdene Vineyards Restaurant has since become a popular spot to visit and dine on the Peninsula.
A private collection of paintings, glassware and other objets d'art adorn the interior. Frequent changes to the collections ensure a fresh experience on subsequent visits. The gardens also feature unique sculptures and intriguing antique collectibles.
Beautifully restored, the original 1920's homestead boasts three beautifully restored rooms - each uniquely themed for a perfect "romantic getaway". All are spacious and well appointed (further details below). Dining experiences available at Oakdene Vineyards Restaurant or Mr Grubb Cafe & wine tastings at the Cellar Door.

Oakdene has two private dining rooms, the Chocolate Room (pictured right) suitable for up to 19 guests and the Cloud Room for up to 9 diners. Mrs Hockings Bar, with its open fire place is open in the evenings and on winter weekends.
Oakdene is available for functions, weddings, and conferences 7 days a week.
We have numerous function spaces including private rooms and larger spaces to accommodate all event sizes up to 100 people.

Our award winning restaurant is open Saturday and Sunday at noon for lunch and Wednesday to Saturday from 6.30pm for dinner.
